Couture jewelry designer, April Schenk Torres, founder of IsabellaGraceOriginals, has created one of a kind, handcrafted, earth friendly jewelry and accessories using mainly recycled materials to bring original works of art to the fashion world. She thoroughly explores antique stores and estate sales for vintage treasures to inspire her designs then deconstructs and redesigns her findings to form new, innovative, and "green" pieces of wearable art.

Throughout her life, she has developed a true passion for creating all types of artwork. She has worked with many mediums such as painting, charcoal & pencil drawings, pottery and sculpture to name a few. As a determined and open-minded artist, April majored in graphic design throughout her college years. She then started out in the business world making custom handmade invitations and centerpieces, which were often embellished with lace, pearls, and rhinestones. It was at that point her interest in jewelry design began to heighten.

Being true to herself as a person, woman and artist, she wanted to combine her love of fashion and art with this unique jewelry line.
